To optimally meet our need for skilled professionals, Bakker Sliedrecht launched its own trade school in 2009. This unique learning environment bridges the gap between vocational education and real-world practice, ensuring that students learn what is truly required on the job.
In our trade school, we train students over four years to become Service Technicians in Electrical Engineering (MBO-4 level). During this program, we combine up-to-date theory with intensive practical experience. Students work with modern technologies, receive professional guidance, and engage in realistic practical cases. They also receive an appropriate work-study (BBL) salary.
After completing the program, we offer excellent career growth opportunities. Students have the chance of a permanent position within our company or can progress to one of the HBO follow-up programs in electrical engineering. In this way, we support not only knowledge and practical experience but also a sustainable career path.
