Eneco has awarded a contract to Bakker Sliedrecht for maintaining the high voltage and low voltage installations of 24 wind farms located in the south-west of the Netherlands. The contract focuses on managing and maintaining the installation parts between the power grid and the wind turbines.
As part of the contract, Bakker Sliedrecht is going to periodically inspect the electrical installations of 24 wind farms according to NEN-EN 50110. The inspection program consists of the distribution station, switchgear, transformers, cabling between the windmills, and the cabling between the distribution station and the windmills are part of the inspection program.
Eneco and Bakker Sliedrecht are going to work closely together to maximize the availability and reliability of the wind farms. A result of the close cooperation is that both companies are working together in one platform to manage all assets. The platform contains all inspection data including advised follow-up actions. The wind farm manager from Eneco can easily access inspection reports and order Bakker Sliedrecht to take care of the follow-up actions directly from the platform. Henk Bogaard, Manager High Voltage at Bakker Sliedrecht: “This working method guarantees that follow-up actions are managed and provides a long term overview of the wind farms. Eneco can use these valuable insights to improve the management of their other wind farms.”
